Hi, I’m Jena, a creative entrepreneur with a love for painting, mark-making, and the endless exploration of color. My journey into the arts has been anything but traditional. With a background in business and technology, I originally built a career in tech after graduating during the 2010 recession. In 2017, I stepped away from the corporate world to focus on full-time motherhood, and in 2022, I finally took the leap to pursue my passion for art by launching my own business. 

 

Shortly after starting this new chapter, life took an unexpected turn—my oldest daughter was diagnosed with leukemia. I put my business on hold to focus on our family, but painting remained my outlet, a way to process emotions and find moments of peace. Now, as her treatment nears completion, I’m refocusing on my artistic journey with a renewed sense of purpose.

 

​My work is deeply personal, shaped by life’s twists and turns. I use a variety of mediums and unconventional tools—including prescription containers and medical supplies—alongside traditional brushes and knives.
